Emotional Freedom Technique

(EFT) Tapping

Emotional Freedom Technique is a relatively new addition to modern psychotherapy. However, its roots go back to Shiatsu, Acupressure and Acupuncture – an ancient Chinese/ Japanese therapies. With plenty of evidence based on scientific research and simplicity in application, EFT Tapping has been gaining popularity over the last couple of decades in the west.

It has been noted that stimulating certain points on the skin, paired with specified mental activities, can instantly shift your brain’s electrochemistry.

This can be noticed as feeling lighter, calmer, relaxed, and it can help to overcome difficult emotions such as fear, guilt, shame, jealousy and anger. It enables to bring a change to unwanted habits and behaviours and enhance your abilities to love, succeed and enjoy life.

How to find 9 EFT Tapping points

EFT Tapping Meridian Points

Tapping works with the body’s subtle energy system called meridians. Acupuncture uses needles and acupressure uses finger pressure on these points.

EFT has been called a psychological version of acupressure, as the simple process of tapping certain acupoints while focusing on an emotional upset has the effect of releasing the intense charge of troubling emotions.
